Do I need a website if I already have a Facebook page?
The short answer
Yes, for two reasons: a lot of people won't look at a Facebook page before buying, and you don't control it. A simple website is what your Google Business Profile links to and what shows up in search results.
What a page can't do
It can't rank for "roofer near me" the way a site page can, it buries your prices and hours under posts, and it shows your competitors' ads beside your business.
If the account is ever locked or disabled, your entire online presence goes with it.
Use both, for different jobs
Social is for keeping existing customers warm. The website is for someone who has never heard of you and is deciding between three options right now.
